For a graduation party that I did recently, the theme was racing- particularly with big trucks. I used a huge, knobby tire for the centerpiece of each table.

The tire was topped with a black and white checkered handkerchief,  a couple racing flags, a keychain that said “Class of 10,” a little monster truck, and a photo of the graduating senior.

For the drinks, I stacked 3 tires on top of each other and used the hole in the center as a cooler for the sodas.

Strange? I’ll let you be the judge of that! I must say though, the tires were a huge hit with the guys.
